JNE is an express and logistics courier services company, originated from Indonesia. Its official name is Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (Tiki JNE). Nowadays, Tiki JNE is better known as JNE. The name "JNE" is an abbreviation for "Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir", which is Sanskrit language meaning "blessed lane courier". Its headquarters is located in Jakarta.
In 1991, JNE set up its own international network by joining the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which allows JNE to offer delivery services worldwide. As the company was focussed on international deliveries, JNE joined hands with other courier companies in Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Hong Kong, by forming the Association Courier Conference of Asia (ACCA).
Due to intense competition on the home market, JNE decided to focus on domestic networking. By TiKi's domestic network and its name, this gave JNE the opportunity and competitive advantage over its domestic competitors. Therefore, JNE expanded its domestic operations and network. In the upcoming years, JNE expanded its services by its operations in logistics and distribution and launched a special services.
Over the years both JNE and TiKi grew and became two large entities, with its own direction. Because of this evolvement, both JNE and TiKi became competitors. Eventually, it was decided that JNE should be a company on its own, thus having an own management, objectives, etc. Because of this evolvement, JNE launched a new marketing policy with new logo in order to distinguish themselves from its association with TiKi.
Because of its growth, JNE extended its assets by purchasing buildings in 2002 and established the JNE Sorting Center. Later in 2004, the JNE head office was purchased and established. Both its has head office and its operations center are located in Jakarta.

- Despatch Department operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week and hire employees with the greatest number.
- Despatch Department is an operating unit that is directly related to the "strategic customer in front of" the representative office, agency and corporate customers through courier Pick Up and "strategic customers in the back" of receiving shipment by courier delivery.
MAIN TASK
- Planning, implementing, organize and evaluate activities pick up, and inbound (delivery) shipment of express in the capital with the required degree of success.
- Ensureing smooth pick up and inbound (delivery) and the security of delivery of goods in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Creating a report on the implementation and inbound pick up (delivery) every month.
- Developing and motivating employees / staff Despacth Dept. to maintain and improve labor productivity.
- Ensuring the preservation of quality and capacity for sustainable development Despatch operations

- Supervising and provide solutions to problems that arise on the job pick-up, inbound (delivery), and the bill billing note.
