Universitas Sumatera Utara - USU or University of Sumatera Utara is a reputable state university in Indonesia and located in Medan, the Province of North Sumatera. The University was established 1952 as a Foundation. In 1957, its status changed into a public university and in 2003 become a legal entity. The University supported by 14 faculties and operated 135 programmes consist of 19 doctoral programes, 32 masters programes, 18 medical specialists programes, 5 professional programmes, 46 undergraduates, and 15 diploma degrees. USU also supported by 1,632 lecturers and 33,000 registered students.
