Universitas Gadjah Mada - UGM or Gadjah Mada University is one of the best and the oldest state university in Indonesia. The University was established in 1949 and located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Currently UGM supported by 18 faculties, 69 undergraduate programs, 24 diploma programs and a Graduate School. In December 2000, Gadjah Mada University has taken a new status as a state-owned legal entity. Currently the University lead by Prof. Dr. Pratikno, M.Soc.Sc.
