PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) - PLN is the largest national electricity power service company in Indonesia. PLN operated as a state-owned company (BUMN) and all 100% of its shares owned by the Government of Republic of Indonesia with the State Minister for BUMN as the shareholder. The Company's head quarter is in Jakarta and currently supported by 47 business units across Indonesia, consisting of 6 units in Java Bali operation area, 9 units in West Indonesia operation area, 8 units in East Indonesia operation area, 6 units in services operation area, 12 units parent projects (UIP) and 6 units in PLN Generations (KIT). Based on PLN Annual Report 2011, PLN's electricity production in 2011 reached 183,421 GWh (Gigawatt hours), or an increase of around 8% in comparison to 2010 which was only 169,786 GWh with total costumers recorded 45.9 million costumers.
