Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jambi or Bank Jambi is a bank in Indonesia. This bank was established on February 12nd, 1959 and is headquartered in Jambi city.
BPD Jambi was established with the intent to support and encourage regional development and economic growth in developing regions in order to heighten the standard of living.
In carrying out its functions BPD Jambi acted as Development Bank, Commercial Bank, holder of treasury and is one source of local revenue.
In accordance with Peraturan Daerah Tingkat I Jambi No. 13 Tahun 1992, the capital of BPD Jambi was Rp. 10 billion, at the end of 1998 have been met. Thus Capital has fulfilled the partial amendment of Peraturan Daerah No.13 Tahun 1992, namely Peraturan Daerah No.5 Tahun 1999 about the First Amendment Regulation of Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jambi.
Changes in Peraturan Daerah No.5 Tahun 1999 only in the authorized capital clause of BPD Jambi transform Rp. 10 billion to Rp. 50 billion and the shares of each Local Government.
In accordance with the results Due Diligance, BPD Jambi is in the category "A". Through the letter of Bank Indonesia No.31/9/UpwB/AdWB1/Jb/Rahasia dated January 21st, 1999. So, the BPD Jambi does not need to follow the recapitalization program.

Currently, BPD Jambi requires employee candidates with the following requirements :
- Bachelor of all majors, with code (S) to be placed as Account Officer (Marketing) and Administration Kredit
- Diploma 3 (DIII) of all majors, with the code (D) to be placed as Customer Service, Teller and Corporate Secretary
- Senior Secondary School (SLTA), with the code (SL) to be placed as Karyawan Dasar

- Indonesian Citizen (WNI)
- Surat Berkelakuan Baik issued by the police
- Submissive and obedient to UUD 1945 and Pancasila state philosophy
- Declared fit to run a job as a bank clerk by a Doctor appointed by the Bank
- Have the educational background, skills or expertise in accordance with the qualifications required by the Bank
- Not to exceed the age of 27 years for S1, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and the age of 24 years for education D3 with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and the age of 20 years for senior high school education with an average value of STTB at least 7.0
- Not married yet and willing to not get married for 2 (two) years since the employee was appointed as honorary
- Never dishonorably discharged from other agencies
- Willing to be placed throughout the office of PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jambi
- Including the code of education level (example : for Bachelor = "S", for Diploma 3 = "D") in the top right corner of the envelope
