Market Administrator - Indonesia  
Job Description
Assist in all functions of Business Development Department and in hotel supply network. In addition, the individual is required to support acquisition, activation and maintenance of hotel relationships, and to coordinate with other departments involved in assigned projects.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate contracting process with new hotels
  • Train new hotels on how to use the extranet, manage rates and availability on site.
  • Assist in activation of hotels
  • Contract renewal with existing partners.
  • Ensure last room availability and pricing competitiveness.
  • Coordinate and support the Market Managers in all contacting, systems and content related activities
  • Resolve all issues relating to accounting, allotment, pricing, vouchers, notification, cancellations, etc.
  • Participate in market and competition research
  • Evaluate production and determine follow up action.
  • Prepare reports as necessary
  • Co-ordinate merchandising activities for hotel partners with special deals and promotions
  • Be responsible for timely and accurate delivery of content and photos for new and existing hotels
  • Manage other ad-hoc administrative requests and operative tasks
Qualifications
  • Very good command in both written and spoken English.
  • Strong Team Player and goal oriented person.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Education in Tourism related field is an advantage, but not a must

Market Manager - Indonesia 
Job Description
 
Job summary 
We are seeking a Market Manager to help expand our room supply network.  This person should be experienced in the hotel and/or travel industry or have sales or marketing experiences with previous exposure in hotel contracting.  He/she is capable of establishing and managing hotel relationships.  He/she will be assisting other trade partnership related functions, identifying market trends, and defining potential supply sources.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
General:
  • Identify, qualify, and contact potential hotel suppliers.
  • Ensure last room availability and pricing competitiveness.
  • Facilitate communication between both new suppliers and existing partners.
  • Define team operation processes and delegate task.
  • Act as key contact point for suppliers to maintain relationship
  • Act as local contact point for resolution of administrative issues associated with suppliers
  • Participate in market research as required.
  • Evaluate production and determine follow up action.
Administration:
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and proposal.
  • Manage all supplier data in distribution systems.
  • Manage seasonal rate renewals.
  • Provide training of distribution systems for suppliers.
  • Regular update on supplier relationship.
  • Manage weekly and monthly supplier and internal reports.
  • Initiate agreement and credit arrangement with suppliers.
Required Skills 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in hotel and/or travel industry.
  • Full of initiative, assertive, responsible, dynamic, results-oriented, a strategic thinker with strong management and leadership skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Excellent command of English.
  • International exposure.
  • Computer skill essential.
  • Working knowledge of account management.
  • Education in Tourism related field is an advantage.
