The Association of Southeast Asian Nations - ASEAN is a regional-intergovernmental organisation in Southeast Asia Region. The Organization was established on 8 August 1967 with the signing of the Bangkok Declaration by Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand in Bangkok, Thailand. ASEAN engaged to promote peace and stability, sustain economic growth, shared prosperity and social progress. Curently ASEAN based in Jakarta, Indonesia and comprises 10 (ten) countries, consist of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
