KSEI as Securities Depository and Settlement Institution

PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) is a Securities Depository and Settlement Institution (LPP) in Indonesia Capital Market that was established in Jakarta on December 23, 1997 and obtained its operational license on November 11, 1998.  In Indonesia Capital Market structure, KSEI is one of the Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs), in addition to the Stock Exchange and Clearing & Guarantee Institution.  KSEI, pursuant to the provisions under Law Number 8 Year 1995 regarding Capital Market, takes its role as LPP in Indonesia Capital Market by providing orderly, fair and efficient Securities Central Depository and Transaction settlement services.

KSEI started its operational activities, which is transaction settlement of Securities in script form, on January 9, 1998 by taking over the function of its kind from PT Kliring Deposit Efek Indonesia (KDEI), which once was the Clearing Depository and Settlement Institution (LKPP).  Thereafter, as of July 17, 2000, KSEI, together with PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (d/h PT Bursa Efek Jakarta) and PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI) made a breakthrough by implementing scripless trading and central depository activities in Indonesia capital market. KSEI shares are owned by its service users, namely: the SROs (PT Bursa Efek Indonesia and PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia), Custodian Bank, Securities Companies, and Registrars.

Being existed more than a decade in Indonesia Capital Market with its accomplishment in transforming transaction settlement into scripless and other breahthroughs that contribute to the transaction settlement efficiency, KSEI shall keep moving forward to provide excellent service products to its service users as well as to carry on a number of continuous developments in Indonesia Capital Market.

STAF OPERASIONAL TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI (OTI) - Jakarta
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Manage reliability performance of the company's main system services to customers
  • Setting the main system configuration and monitoring
  • Managing database back-up/ restore system functioning properly to ensure the availability of back-up recovery system is reliable.
  • Managing the process of installation, setup, maintenance and trouble shooting related to software/ hardware.
Job specification:
  • Understand the concept and operational experience with computer systems: UNIX, Windows, Network, Oracle Database, Java Programming, SQL
  • Have a technical support capability
  • Have strong analytical skills
  • Have self initiative
  • Having the ability to communicate
  • Having a customer service orientation
  • Ability to work under pressure
Minimum specifications:
  • Male, Single, maximum age 27 years
  • 1-2 years experience as a systems administrator/ oracle database administrator
  • S1 from IT/ ​​Computer science, GPA min 2.8
  • Graduated from reputable universities
  • English language skills, evidenced by a certificate/ record TOEFL 450 (test conducted max 2 years ago)
  • Having good ability to analyse and problem solving
